Getting Ready for the Diet and Detoxification

This phase was not in Dr. Simeons original protocol. Fifty plus years later our foods have changed dramatically. We consume a lot of processed, chemically laced, genetically modified foods that are affecting our metabolism and our weight. If you do some research, you will start to understand how beneficial detoxing is to your overall health and to how you feel. Our goal is to provide resources and ideas to get you ready for the HCG diet so you will have an easier time and better results.

This phase is skipped by many, including me initially because I was ready to start the diet and timing is crucial for Phase 2 so your not doing it over special occasions or when you are out of town.  However, if you did skip it, during Phase 4 or after you should consider doing some kind of cleansing every year.

  • Yeast & Candida Cleanse: People who have been overweight and have lots of cravings for starch and sugar, suffer from candida or high amounts of yeast in their bodies. It is always going to be a problem because of the society we live in and the sugar and additives that are added to our food today.
