Additional Tips and Helps to Keep it Off Long Term

Dr. Oz gave five rules to lose ten pounds without changing what you eat.  They are exactly what you need to concentrate on after finishing all of your phases on the HCG Diet.

  1. Weigh yourself daily.  This makes you accountable.  Know what you weigh and learn what makes you go up and down.
  2. Cut out sugary soda.
  3. Do not eat anything after 8 pm.  For people who work late, you must stop eating three hours before bedtime.  People who eat late at night gain 19 more pounds than other people.
  4. Don’t eat snacks larger than your fist.  Take out a portion and put it in a ziploc bag so that you won’t be tempted to overeat… and when it is gone, it is over!
  5. Move 10 minutes a day.  A little movement goes a long way, but you must move and do some activity for at least 10 minutes every day.

Additional Ideas to Think About After the HCG Diet:

  1. Try to minimize your use of white sugar and white flour.  Unfortunately they will always contribute to weight gain.
  2. Add a variety of whole grains and legumes in place of white flour.
  3. Find healthier sugar alternatives.  There are many out there besides white sugar.
  4. When you tend to overeat ask yourself, who, what, where, when and why am I overeating?
  5. When you go up a few pounds, cut back on your sugar and starch and eat healthier the next few days.
  6. If you start craving breads and sweets, consider doing a candida or colon cleanse.
  7. Get used to eating smaller meals and  healthy snacks more often.
  8. CONTINUE READING LABELS! Just eliminating high frutcose syrup will help you lose weight without trying.
  9. When eating out, save 1/2 your meal for tomorrow or split with someone!  Pay attention to when you get full.
  10. If you feel things are getting out of control, consider doing another round.  Not only will you lose weight, it will get your cravings and I’m full meter working again.
